37 Minutes To A Delicious And Simple Chicken Recipe – Bacon Stuffed Chicken Breast
Surprise yourself. You can make this delicious chicken breast recipe – in about half an hour!
Here’s what you need:
2 Tablespoons of olive oil
4 6-oz. boneless, skinless chicken breasts
4 oz. goat cheese (crumble it up)
6 strips of cooked bacon (needs to be crispy, chop it up)
6 basil leaves, cut into slivers
salt and pepper, to make your mouth go “mmmm”
1 cup balsamic vinegar – that dark, sweet and sour Italian diva
Get to it:
First, preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 C).
Butterfly the breast. (Cut through thickest part of breast, horizontally, but don’t cut it all the way. It should open like a book.) Open it up on a cutting board. Salt and pepper the chicken. Pack it with 1/4 of the goat cheese per breast as well as the bacon and basil, divided evenly among the breasts. Fold the breast back together. Seal it with some wooden skewers or toothpicks if you want.
Sear the breasts off on each side in a sautee pan with the olive oil.
Cook for 30 minutes in the preheated oven. The internal temperature should be 165 degrees F (74 C), minimum.
Remove from oven. Let set 10 minutes before serving.
While the chicken sets, make the balsamic glaze.
Put the vinegar in a sauce pan over medium-high. Reduce to 1/3 of original volume.
Make it thick and syrupy.
Place the cooked chicken on a plate. Drizzle the balsamic vinegar syrup (reduction) over it.
Saffron rice, a mixed green salad, and steamed vegetables will send your taste buds to the moon.
